• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

100GB psa dump files

Michael Wa.

Basic Pleskian
Hi there,

today I discovered some psa dump files in the /var/lib/psa/dumps folder.

they are almost 100GB and it seems the are at least 1month old:

-rw-r----- 1 root root 11048232960 Jul 1 2010 backup_info_1007010734.xml.tar
-rw-r----- 1 root root 18643333120 Dec 23 07:54 backup_info_1012230619.xml.tar
-rw-r----- 1 root root 20541706240 Jan 20 07:20 backup_info_1101200534.xml.tar
-rw-r----- 1 root root 20400097280 Jan 31 07:21 backup_info_1101310534.xml.tar
-rw-r----- 1 root root 20560578560 Feb 1 07:17 backup_info_1102010534.xml.tar
-rw-r----- 1 root root 14267033600 Feb 2 11:11 backup_info_1102020919.xml.tar
-rw-r----- 1 root root 14584401920 Feb 14 06:58 backup_info_1102140534.xml.tar

Could someone tell me when such files will be created and if I can delete them? (I assume Yes)
They also do not show up in the Plesk Backend...

many thanks
Michael
