• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

12.0.18#70 - Horde Webmail - Encoding issue

Allen

New Pleskian
Hi,

I have encountered a weird issue with the Horde Webmail that seems to be an encoding problem in the Compose window.

Tried on:

OS: Windows Server 2012 R2
Plesk Panel version: 12.0.18 Update #70
Horde Webmail version: 6.2.9
Using MailEnable

How To Reproduce:

1. Send a Test Email using https://gist.github.com/anonymous/304653c6f3837334cc9c

Base64 decoded contents is at: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/0547b7cb8be0f5852b2f

2. Open the mail in Horde (In Automatic mode) and click on Reply to get to the Composing window. Weird/incorrect symbols will be appearing in the email:

Things that I have tried

1. I have also tried sending the same test email to a Linux host using the Horde Webmail version 6.2.8 and doesn't seem to be encountering the same problem:

2. I have also tried searching the Knowledge base and the issue that seems relating to will be: http://kb.odin.com/en/125637

Tried using Horde (In Basic mode); Compose window will be returning a blank screen instead of a quoted message:

3. Reducing the amount of " " (<35) seems not to be triggering the issue.

I am not sure whether if this is considered as a Plesk Windows or a Horde Bug. Have anyone encountered similar issue as well?
