  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Accessing PSA database from Webadmin

Hello.

Is it possible to access the PSA database from Webadmin? This appears to be a change when going from 9 to 10.

Yes it is not allowed. I think it is bad idea and access to psa database should be only via CLI.

Igor, I usually use a PHP script that I would type the plesk admin credentials in and provide a domain and it would output email account passwords for that domain. Would it be make more sense to modify the existing admin user for the database, or add a new DB user to the PSA database.
