  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Acessing a website without domain (locally)

New Pleskian
How can I access a website that I hosting but still not pointed a DNS?

For example:

myprojekt.com.br/wordpress/wp-admin is the panel of a blog on this domain, that pointing to a IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and I wanna migrate this to my new server with plesk panel.
Before migration, I wanna install everything, test, look for bugs and then I will point the DNS to new server, to minimize the site's downtime.

How can I access a link on my new server that will be equivalent myprojekt.com.br/wordpress/wp-admin (my old server).

Thanks

Akira

Igor my friend...
I saw the admin's guide, and I using the site preview method, but the problem is...
I have a domain named zigmundibebe.com.br pointing to my old server.
I created zigmundibebe.com.br on my new server using plesk.
when I open main site's preview (http://myserver.com.br:8443/sitepreview/http/zigmundibebe.com.br/) everything's go fine.
But When I try to open http://betic.com.br:8880/sitepreview/http/zigmundibebe.com.br/wordpress_f/wp-admin , it opens zigmundibebe.com.br, and I receive a error because de wordpress_f directory doesn't exist (in old server the wordpress folder is wordpress).
But is a customer who is editing a website, and maybe he did a wrong redirect.
To prove it to my self, I have a test domain named myprojekt.com.br. I installed a wordpress and tried to preview it. The main site works fine on http://myserver.com.br:8443/sitepreview/http/myprojekt.com.br/, but when I try to preview http://myserver.com.br:8443/sitepreview/http/myprojekt.com.br/wordpress/wp-admin, its redirect me to myprojekt.com.br/wordpress/wp-admin... outside of preview....

I tried the quick view method and no lucky... tried like this zigmundibebe.com.br.xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.myserver.com.br and... wot work...

Thank you my friend for the help you gave me until now... if you can help me with this I will be in debt to you...

Keep in touch
