  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Adding DNS record failes due to wrong format (bug?)

Actually, behind the "Domainname" input field and the dot the domain name should be shown, not an empty space. The input field itself is for a subdomain entry. Which Plesk version and which operating system are you using? Could you also please run plesk repair db -y and plesk repair web kayoso.de on the console to make sure that no inconsistencies exist?

Hi Peter, thank you for your answer.
Well, I tried the same with other domains. It's the same isssue for all of them. The commands ended without any error reports.

Server info:
Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS
Plesk Obsidian Web Admin Edition
Version 18.0.53 Update Nr. 2
DNS server is bind

Eh, I think you have a bigger issue there. Can you try running:
plesk repair installation
To see about repairing the whole installation? If that doesn't fix it, I would suggest opening a ticket with Plesk Support so they can jump on and take a look.
