  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,

Plesk 9.5.1

Mail Server = MailEnable Standard 1.986 installed.
Components Management = Horde IMP H3 (4.3.6)

Under Home>Settings>Server Components> Select default Web Mail component there are optional clients / servers, but none installed.

How do I go about installing another (un)supported web mail? For example there is a link on my home screen to download SmarterEmail. I would like to install DeskNow! mail server if it is compatible with PP 9.5.1 and IIS7.

Under Inetpub\ vhosts\ webmail\ I can see horde directory. But please explain the process of extracting them and running them within Plesk?

Thanks.

running DeskNow separate from Parallels

I have three (3) IP on my server (x.1, x.2, x.3) I have x.1 and x.2 assigned in Plesk but for some reason IIS and Plesk mail still using and conflicting with x.3.

How can I make sure that Plesk and IIS only are using IP x.1 and x.2 and NOT x.3?
