  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Adding Phisical Hosting

Hi there,
I am running plesk 8.3 on Windows server 2003. When I add a new domain and I want to create phisical hosting fot it I get this error message:

Unable to update hosting preferences: Update FTP user failed: ftpmng --update-user failed: Virtual host Home on IP address 213.165.88.55 already exists

Please help me with the issue.
 
Hi,

Do you have any website configured on 213.165.88.55 with the same name? or user? If so, try deleing that specific website & then add the hosting. Also, you can try switching the IP address for this specific account.
