  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

I see a lot of references in this forum to fixing Plesk problems by editing the MySQL database.

When I type show databases; all I get is the actual mysql database - what database is holds the Plesk data?

In Plesk 7.5 Plesk MySQL instance works at 8306 port number. Plesk settings are stored in psa database. To connect to it use
mysql -uadmin -p<admin_psa_pass> -P8306 psa
