  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Basic Pleskian
hi.

I upgraded server shield to plus version..
and when I activated the button of my domain.. via Servershield it shown ON then I tried to enter my website and I saw error 1016 cloudflare Origin DNS Error...

maybe my dns of vps or something else not configured so good?

I will glud to know what the steps should I do to make it work..

this my details so far..
I have vps from: OVH.net
I have a domain from: Siteground.com
for the DNS of that domain I used Cloudflare DNS service (example:) ns1. cloudflare. com.
and ns2.cloudflare.com

what I need to do for fix it? :)

I believe the "CloudFlare Plus" from Plesk is a specially negotiated deal with CloudFlare which does not include full authoritative DNS only the virtual CName DNS. Disappointing I know.

If I am wrong, I would be glad to hear it! I would much prefer to use CloudFlare DNS.

I suspect this is more a problem with plesk as the Plesk DNS management is lacking to begin with. I would love to see full DNS management in Plesk (including record TTLs) which could then be synchronized to CloudFlare automatically. That would be excellent!
