  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Any way to speed up awstats with dns lookups enabled?

I had to enable the DNS lookups of a site and re-generate the awstats for that site (lots of IP addresses are meaningless to the customers)..
Of course it takes a very long time to re-generate the stats using the tool at How to recalculate AWStats web-statistics using domain logs for previous months in Plesk
AWSTATS seems to include a lot of features for using MaxMind to speed up the lookups. I wondered if any of them are supported, and/or configurable from the GUI.
I wish they were, because its configuration seems messy - install cpan, install these modules, etc.
