  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Apache Autoindex on a subdomain (file listing)

Regular Pleskian
Hi,

I'm trying to set a subdomain to list the directory content via the Autoindex of Apache. But I can't get it to work...

I have PSA8.1 and FC5.
- First, I created in
/var/www/vhosts/mydomain.tld/subdomains/mysubdomain/conf
A file called "vhost.conf" with the following content:
<Directory /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.tld/subdomains/mysubdomain/httpdocs>
Options Indexes
</Directory>
- Then I executed:
/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/websrvmng -a -v
- Then I even restarted Apache

And I still get the default "Fedora Core Test Page" instead of the file listing when accessing to http://mysubdomain.mydomain.tld ... The subdomain is working as I can get the files if I put a full URL to them... The vhost.conf is also recognized, as if I put something like "ServerAlias www.mysubdomain.mydomain.tld", this works.

I don't get it... Any idea?
Thanks!

I could finally make it work by commenting all lines in the file:
/etc/httpd/conf.d/welcome.conf
