  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Automated Backup Scheduled Run Time

Hi everybody,

I have another thing with Plesk i cannot change persistent.
It's about the the scheduled backup jobs, which are defined in Plesk's control panel under the domains.

I have made the settings and the daily automated backup for the domains is running fine.

But they are all scheduled on 00:00.
Because on this time many users are using the webserver i would set the scheduled backup jobs to start at 03:00.

I've made the changes in the windows scheduler, where i found the scheduled plesk domain backup jobs.

But everytime if i change the run time value, one day later the job was reset to the default time 00:00.

Where can i change this default backup time?

Thanks for your support.

Best Regards,

thodie

I believe you should change the schedule in Plesk. Go to the domain in the "domains" list, select "back up" and then scheduled backup. In there you can change when it's all going down.

Also, you can tick whether or not to suspend the domain while backing up.

I suppose you can leave it unchecked, so your domain still will be active?

Do you know if this backup utility also backs up MySQL databases? I don't know :(
