Hello,

I am creating successfull back ups for one of my websites. When I try to import it on other server it says no metadata found. I checked the tar file saw that some of the data tgz archives and backupinfo xml are missing in it. My other websites create and import backups flawlesly. What could be the problem of it?

Thank you in advance.

Are you doing a full backup? Doing it at the domain level or doing through the server's tools and settings level?
I am doing full backup and also incremental on domain level with server tools. It doesn't change for incremental or full backup.

hmm... I'm not getting that issue. After you make the initial backup it does does up in the backup manager, right? How are you downloading it, from the panel itself with the download option or you connecting through a FTP client?

Yes it does show up in the back up manager with green icon stating it is successful. I download from the panel. There isn't any problem with other domains.

Not sure then unless you have some weird excluding rules set up with the backup. Only thing I can suggest for now is to utilize site import if the domain is already created on the new server or plesk migrator if the domain isn't already created. Maybe someone else on here might know the answer or you could open a ticket with plesk directly (if your license is directly through them) for a more personal and individual support who can actually remote in (with authorization) and see what's actually going on. If your license key is through a third party you'll need to go through them but if you want you can still get support directly through plesk but there's a charge (but you can utilize the free trial for the support plan but that's only if your license is through a third party. Licenses bought directly through plesk is always free). More information for getting support directly through plesk can be found here.
