• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Backup failed

New Pleskian
The Backup failed because the backupmanage didnt find a subdomain. I tryed to delete this subdomain, but it was not there. So Plesk cant delete anything that is not there. I think its only in the plesk database. In the public documents i cant find these subdomain? How can i delete the domain so that i can make backups?

Can I manually access the plesk database? And where?

Greetings

Ok i have got a solution from a friend. I discribe it here for others.

You have to restaurate the domain with the windows 2003 tools. First check if there is a subdomainuser:
sudomainname
and
IUSR_subdomainname

if there is no one create this two with the windows 2003 webadministation tool.

Then go into the IIS options and create the webseite. Example:
subomain.domain.com

If this all is done enter plesk and you can delete the domain. If there is also an error read the error message, then you have forgotten one account or one option to create manually.
