  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Backup failing on large website

Good Evening,

I have a several domains on my plesk account, most of whic hare under one subscription which all backup without issue.

I have 1 domain on separate subscription which is 4.8gb in size (due to video files). Everytime I try to back it up internally or to an external FTP site it fails and the /usr partition becomes full.

Any help to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated

I managed to get a backup made last night, which seemed to work (no error at plesk side). I tried to download directly from the backup location to my desktop and the file failed as corrupt. I also tried to recover to plesk, but the /tmp location reported being full then I lost access to plesk until I purged the /tmp folder via SSH.
