• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Backup size is included in mail size statistics

Petrou Net

Basic Pleskian
When a customer backups his/her site using Backup Manager, the size of the backup will be included on mail size statistics, on next calculation.

How to reproduce:
Let's suppose there is a client with the following statistics on Statistics tab (https://www.domain.com:8443/smb/statistics)
Web: 60MB
Mail: 5MB
Databases: 3MB
Other: 30KB
Now let's suppose that this client wants to backup his site using Backup Manager, a backup will be produced, the backup size will be about 128MB (if you are wondering why the backup is so big, it's because the web directories are included twice, it's another bug, check http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=106173)

On next statistics calculation, the statistics will be:
Web: 60MB
Mail: 133MB (5MB Mail + 128MB Backup = 133MB)
Databases: 3MB
Other: 30KB

Parallels, shouldn't the backup size be added on Other statistics and not on Mail? Plesk Panel 10 looks nice, but I'm a bit disappointed with all these bugs.
