  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Trying to upgrade the Plesk backup utilities, as the current version I have (ver. 7.0 for Plesk 7.0.x Build: 041216.03) is refusing the backup any of my domains. My server provider told me I need top upgrade BU, so I have the new release, but when I try to install it, I get the following error: "The system administrator has set policies to prevent the installation".

I have searched the windows help and I get a result about norton, so that doesn't help. How can I get this upgraded anyone?

You're need uninstall old Backup utility from "Add/Remove Programs" ->
Plesk ->
Modify", and then install new one
