  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Ban access via the server IP address!

maholaca522

New Pleskian
By default, you can log in to Plesk via the server IP address, for example: https://192.0.2.1
I want to ban access via the server IP address. Only allow access via port 8443, what to do?
For example when user enter IP address it will give error page or redirect to my homepage, not login page to plesk.
Someone please help me!

Have you tried to use Tools & Settings > IP Access Restriction Management ?
I tried. but it only restricts login. they can still load the plesk login page
i want to ban them from loading plesk login page, or redirect it to my homepage
for example i have this address 128.199.115.27, when entered it on browse will redirect to home page,

Tools&Settings > IP addresses, click on the misbehaving IP
change Default site (probably "None" now) to the site you want to redirect to

What you are looking for can be found/configured on "General Settings" --> "Customize Plesk URL"
Here you need to set it to "No custom URLs. Only https://<server-IP-or-hostname>:8443"

After that, requests to the IP address will no long show the login page.
