  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Blank passwords

Basic Pleskian
Have set the security policy to strong and works really well when creating or updating passwords to an email account. Problem is that if you don't enter a password at the time of creating an email account, it is still created anyway. There's no warning that the password is blank.

Ok the account can't be accessed via webmail, nor seemingly through an email client, but I would have thought that the security policy would have prevented it's creation in the first place. Am using version 11.0.9 Plesk for Windows. Is this a bug?

This may have been fixed in 11.5 but after hearing of a few issues with that version, I'm loathe to upgrade just yet.

Thanks
