• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Broken links when published (.php vs .html)

I'm using SB 3.02 on linux.

One of our client sites is having this problem.

Firstly, when previewing the site, all of the hyperlinks on the pages work.

However, when the site is published, all of the hyperlinks in the menus work, but the hyperlinks in the body of the pages don't.

Looking more closely at the problem, I can see that when in preview mode, all pages are .php files (e.g. page1.php). However when the site is published, all pages are uploaded as .html files (e.g. page1.html).

When the site is published, the hyperlinks in the menu are being changed to point to page1.html instead of page1.php, however, the hyperlinks in the main body of the pages are being left pointing to page1.php (which does not exist).

I've tried deleting and re-creating the links, and I've tried deleting the published site and re-publishing.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Matthew, as I know this problem have been passed to development team from your ticket #293534. It should be resolved on one of these days. As soon as we get any update from developers I will update the ticket and this thread.

Thanks Dmitry, I've installed the patch and it works. The links are now deployed pointing to the .html files as expected.
