Dear all,
I'm trying to create new website with Plesk8.2 on Windows 2003 R2.
Lastweek it is ok to create a new website with Admin or Client (reseller) account.
But sudddenly yesterday, I could not create new website anymore. And it keep saying somehing like....

Unable to get the user (test250) home: (2221) The user name could notbe found.

No matter what user/password is....... Please give any suggestion to solve the problem.

Br,

And in the Event Viewer of Windows 2003.. is shown..

Unable to get the user (test250) home: (2221) The user name could not be found.
Execute file name: C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\bin\usermng.exe

The problem is solved after install Update to 8.2.0.1

Thanks.

FYI

Such errors usually occur when you are trying to perform some system-wide operation that require system user accounts enabled. Basically there are three types of problems there:

1) Such system account does not exist (this is exactly your case);
2) Such system account is disabled (SID lokkup error occur);
3) System account exists and enabled but have incorrect home paths.

Troubleshooting it as follows:

1) Create the system account requested manually. Right click on My Computer > Manage > Users and Groups > Users > Add New User. Then reconfigure IIS websites to apply changes:

%plesk_bin%\websrvmng.exe --reconfigure-all

2) Just enable this account in ight click on My Computer > Manage > Users and Groups > Users

3) Specify home directory for the account in ight click on My Computer > Manage > Users and Groups > Users > problem account > Properties > Home

There are also known issues with password synchronization but they are mostly related to IIS accounts (IUSR_ and IWPD_) and occur within completely different conditions.
