  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Can we edit Image Slider?

coolemail2

Basic Pleskian
I want 2 columns - an image slider taking up about one third of the page - and text taking up two thirds of the page.
I have the "Image Slider" and "Text/Images" modules next to each other. They default to taking up 50% of the page each - any way to change the percentage each takes up?

Images have been saved as 290 pixels high - that is the size that I want them to be. When these are inserted, on a wide screen it expands the hight of the pictures so they look really ridiculous - terrible quality and too big.

We have the site set up as "Liquid" with 90% website width.

I guess that we could change it to a fixed width but then it would not be a mobile-responsive website?

Suggestions on the best way to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Between columns you should see "resizer" to change proportions of your columns. I've attached screenshot:

I'm correctly understood your issue?

You did understand my issue, Egor, thank you. I feel very silly not to have noticed that - thank you.

On the image slider module, is there a way that we can ensure that the pictures will not expand larger than the image size?

No, Image Slider always fits images into borders.

As workaround you can create another transparent image with required resolution and put to it your small image. So your small image will not expanded...
