• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Cannot add SPF record..

Hi

I rent a windows server from One and One

I use it for providing web hosting for some of my clients

To manage the clients, I use Plesk 7.61 and Mail Enable

Over the past few weeks, nobody on any of my domains have been able to send mail to hotmail accounts. This is apparantly because I am lacking an SPF record

I have attempted to add a SPF record using the PLESK DNS management area. I've tried all sorts of combinations from the simple "v=spf1 a mx -all" through complicated auto generated spf statements

No matter what I do though, I cannot get this

http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=vtsdesign.co.uk

to show me as having a valid SPF record

I would be really grafteful if anyone could offer me any sort of assistance as to where i may be going wrong

Kind regards

Mark

the plesk name server is normally not the "really" name server for your domain.

If the domain is also hosted with one and one try to change the one and one nameserver within your account manager or try to request the support.
