• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Cannot install Let's encrypt SSL Certificate

Mafaldo

New Pleskian
Hi guys,

I have a hard time to issue the "Let's encrypt" certificate for my domainn smarterapps.io on plesk, altough it worked for another domain also hosted via plesk pocketnews.io

I have shared the problem already in lets encrypt forum and they told me following:

" All public visible name servers are *ui-dns.org name servers, so your “internal defined name server"

pocketnews.io NS ns1.pocketnews.io isn’t public visible / doesn’t exist / isn’t relevant.
TXT entry isn’t public visible -> Letsencrypt can’t check that -> you can’t create a certificate. Looks like in reality you use http validation, not dns validation." "It’s a Plesk problem, Plesk should use http validation, not dns validation."

Please find attached two screenshots from the DNS configuration of my two domains. Pocketnews.io where the SSL certificate runs without any problems and smarterapps.io where I cannot issue any certificate.

I run plesk on a Virtual Server Linux Level 1 (v1605.12) Hosting provider is Strato. Plesk Version: Plesk Obsidian v18.0.29_build1800200825.21 os_Ubuntu 18.04

Thanks in advance for any help.
