• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi. I'm using plesk 10.3.1 with Atmail Webmail Lite 1.04 enabled.

I can send emails from an email account i created with plesk using webmail.domain.com . I can send emails using webmail but whenever i send an email from myothermail@yahoo.com to user@domain.com i get error from mailer-daemon

Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.

<user@domain.com>:
Remote host said: 550 <user@domain.com>: invalid address [RCPT_TO]

i can send email using webmail from user@domain.com to user@domain.com (to myself to see if it's working internally) and it is.

please help. I checked firewall and it's on, with smtp & pop3 rules set to allow.

in Parallels Plesk Panel Components Management the following are green and running.
Plesk for Windows 10.3.1
MailEnable Standard 4.26
Atmail Webmail Lite 1.04

Update 1:
the following services are running and green....

MailEnable POP Service MailEnable Standard 4.26 Automatic
MailEnable SMTP Connector MailEnable Standard 4.26 Automatic
MailEnable Postoffice Connector MailEnable Standard 4.26 Automatic
MailEnable Mail Transfer Agent MailEnable Standard 4.26 Automatic
MailEnable List Connector MailEnable Standard 4.26 Automatic
MailEnable IMAP Service MailEnable Standard 4.26 Automatic

Update #2: tried disabling the firewall. Still nothing seems to be hitting the mail server when sending an email from outside.

Also cleared all mailenable logs... restarted the mail services and tried to check the logs again (also with MEMSGTRK.zip from http://www.mailenable.com/kb/Content/Article.asp?ID=me020252)
The logs show nothing about any mails coming in or any accounts not being found.... they just show that the services are starting etc but no incoming mails from outside.

So i'm starting to think this is maybe a dns issue?
i checked dns settings and everything seems to be fine there too with the following MX and A records being there.

domain.com. MX (10) mail.domain.com.
mail.domain.com. A 74.***.***.***

Update #3.
since i can both send and recive via webmail and i can send and receive via an external program (windows live mail).... seems that the problem isn't with connecting with the server... it's the server not recognizing incoming mails from outside mails such us someone@yahoo.com sending me an email (someone receives a failure notification email)

SOLVED (NOT REALLY)- but i found the source of the problem
http://www.mailenable.com/tools/memaillookup.asp

turns out

mx00.1and1.com
mx01.1and1.com

are being identified as the primary mx reconds instead of mail.domain.com
