• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Can't migrate most domains data from 9.x to 11.x

Hi, those are domains of a reseller in 9.x named same as existing reseller in 11.x. I think if we first delete the reseller full migration would work. But the reseller already has a domain & mail. Can we delete reseller without touching his domain/mail, perform the full migration from 9.x, and then later reattach the dangling domain to it?

In Plesk 11.* you may try the following:

1. Change the domain ownership back to the systems account -> subscriptions -> select domains -> change subscriber -> in the list select the systems / default plesk owner account.

2. Delinking the domain / subscription from the customer / reseller at the database level ...

Thanks, but I wasn't talking about subscribers, it's conflicting resellers. We also have customers & subscriptions. See where this is going? :)
