Can't SFTP Or SSH But Can FTP
I'm migrating data to a new server and cannot SFTP into any accounts. Currently, I haven't changed the domain names to point to the new server as I want all the content to be on the new server first so there is as little downtime as possible.
In my SFTP client, I'm using the IP address as the host. It connects successfully, but fails authentication no matter what I use for username / password.
One thing I've noticed is the default account for each domain has username 'admin'. If I am using a shared IP address as host, how can I differentiate between the various 'admin' accounts? I never had this issue in Plesk 9 as each name was unique.
I tried creating a new administrator account for the domain in question. For this, I added a new user with Plesk creating the email test@domain.com. It then automatically chose the username test@domain.com. Attempting to SFTP using this username fails as well.
I cannot SSH either, which is probably the core problem here. I can SSH using my default account I set up when configuring plesk, but I cannot on my specific domains. I created them as 'subscriptions' (a terrible term if you ask me...domains owned by myself), and under permissions it says for SSH server 'not allowed'. However, there is no way to change this either. How come I can't let my domain accounts SSH to the server? Where can I adjust this?
