  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Certificate installation

Hello;

We have always installed the SSL certificate for one of our domains using directly IIS, but this time we wanted to try renewing it through Plesk Panel > Domains > mydomain > Certificates.

CSR, Private Key, Certificate and CA are already provided but the certificate does not seem to be installed, neither in IIS > Web Sites > mydomain > Properties > Directory Security > View Certificate (old expiration date, not renewd), nor Plesk > Domains > mydomain > Setup > Certificate (no select box, just Default Certificate).

Thanks so much.

Hi,

1) Install a certificate on domain Certificates' pool:
Domains > domain.com > Certificates

2) Go to Domains > domain.com > Setup,
make sure that this domain assigned on exclusive IP address.

If this requirement was met, you should have a possibility to choose a certificate from domain's pool.

Hi Satoriya,

I see, so it must be assigned to an exclusive IP address and be the only domain on that IP address. Thanks so much.

Another question, we hace two IP addresss on a single netword card, is there any performance difference between registering all domains into one IP address or registering a half on each address?
