• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Change HostName?

I got setup with plesk on a dedicated server.

When plesk was setup, there was a tempoprary hostname on the box. i have since set the hostname to the correct name, rebooted the server, but the hostname being displayed in notification emails is the old, temporary one.

Does anyone know how to change the hostname in the notification emails?

Thanks

My guess is that it may be stored in the Plesk MSSQL database. I have never checked myself but thats the first place i would look.

Have you checked in your qmail settings? i.e. /var/qmail/control/me ?
