• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi,

how can i change the mail-from adress which is used by plesk for system messages (i.e. apache alarm-level)?
Problem:

Domain mydomain.com is hosted by strato/plesk.
Mailserver for mydomain.com is mx.anotherserver.com
Administrator is me@mydomain.com

Plesk sends the system message from me@mydomain.com to me@mydomain.com, but mx.anotherserver.com needs smtp authentication if somebody wants to relay mail from *@mydomain.com to a *@mydomain.com adress.
Best option woud be to tell plesk to use root@h12345.stratoserver.net as senders adress.
