• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Changing domain IP results in Warning: Potential Security bla bla

I noticed that if I use the
plesk bin site --update dom xyz.com -ip 1.2.3.4
to change the IP of a domain to another IP that exists on the server, the web site can no longer be viewed, even after restarting the server and updating all DNS's..

Even if the site is just http, it redirects to the https and then firefox complains that there is a potential security problem since the server main certificate (naturally) does not cover that xyz.com.

Not exactly the desired outcome :)

So how does one fix the problem for xyz.com? That is, make the web site visible again?

UPDATE: Running a /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all
fixed it all :)

In this case it would have been sufficient to only reconfigure the single domain (on servers with many domains, a reconfigure-all can take quite some time and might take some domains offline for a while during the process). So instead, if you want to reconfigure a specific domain, use
Code:
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-domain <domain-name>

I think the reconfigure-server option fixed it in my case.. I believe I tried the reconfigure-domain option before writing this.
