• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

New Pleskian
OS Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1
Panel version 11.5.30 Update #47

Hello, We have a few hosting plans setup with different "allowances" for each.

In Basic Hosting: The website permissions allow basic html and PHP
In Windows Advanced: The website settings allow for html, php, asp and asp.net

When we change a Basic Hosting plan to Windows Advanced using "Change Plan", it will reassign the subscription/domain to use the new plan, but it will not add-on the extra features in Hosting Settings.

Has anyone else seen this?

Resolved:

This happens when the "Hosting Settings Management" option is ticked (check box is ticked). When this option is set, it will not change the hosting settings of any existing subscriptions that are being moved to use the plan.

Draw-back: Now the customers cannot change their PHP version, or ASP.NET versions on their own.

from Parallels Support:

#### ##
Plesk Panel >> Service Plans >> Service Plan Name >> Permissions >> un-tick "Hosting settings management"
#### ##

Once you done with the above changes, the service plan changes will take effect without any issue."
