Changing the DocumentRoot for the website

We have a website which is developed using jsp/servlet. It has got its own index.jsp page.
its location is:
/usr/share/tomcat5/webapps/MaaxSMS
Please suggest me how to change the default root to the above mentioned location.
How to do apache-tomcat configuration?

Please suggest me the exact steps.
