• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Changing tmp directory on source server

Hi,

I am trying to migrate a large domain between two Unix boxes from Plesk version 7.5.4 on the source server to 9.2.1 on the destination server.

The PMM stalls because there is not enough free disk space for the temporary dump files on the source server directory.

Can I change the directory where PMM stores the temporary files on the source server?

Many thanks.

D.

Hi. I've got the same issue here, between 2 servers both updated to plesk 9.2.1.
My PMM folder on the SOURCE server reachs 100% of the volume in a no time.
I've tryed migrating using the compression option, but it has no effect.
Like you Dales, I think that changing the tmp folder is a good solution.
Regards.
Carlos Matias.
