  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

ClapF a Postfix Anti-Spam module, 0.4.2-0.1

atomicturtle

Golden Pleskian
Note: I don't normally announce -testing packages in the Plesk forums, but I've seen enough people asking about how to do this that I figured I'd get this out the door sooner than later. Please be advised this is still in development!

This is the first cut at a drop in mail scanner for environments using Postfix (including Plesk). Much like qmail-scanner, this drops right in with minimal configuration required. It supports multiple AV scanners, spamassassin, quarantining, etc. Implemented in C, clapf is currently designed to run as a dedicated daemon. Connections from postfix are proxied through clapf for content analysis. The scoring system is somewhat different than spamassassin, so a large part of this initial implementation is as much about looking at its effectiveness as issues with integration. By default clapf will only tag messages as spam, although it does support score based deletion.

Features currently implemented:
- ClamAV Anti-Virus
- Drweb Anti-Virus
- Avast Anti-Virus
- Kaspersky Anti-Virus
- Spamassassin
- Quarantine suppor

To install:
0) (add the atomic repo) wget -q -O - http://www.atomicorp.com/installers/atomic |sh

1) yum --enablerepo=atomic-testing install clapf

2) /etc/init.d/clapf start

3) /etc/init.d/postfix restart

hey Scott, i already did, but i´m receiving many spam per day, i would like to know if there is any configuration to block more spam, or a way to use project gamera with postfix?

Thanks

clapf will probably be what we use in the postfix project gamera. Its a bit off though, so for now I would recommend using the current Project Gamera implementation. That works great now

Any news about this?

What is the correct way to install this with plesk and postfix? (the above doesn't work)
