• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

dear users,

I'm currently cleaning up my server and removing a few things I dont have a need for.

since I dont provide hosting to anyone besides myself, I'd prefer to have the system as clean as possible.

basically I'm looking to see if anyone could provide me with the names of the following rpms:

sitebuilder
application vault
Plesk Professional Web Site Editor
Tomcat Java Servlets support
PosgreSQL server support
Plesk migration manager

I've tracked down others like ASP, Frontpage, python and more but am unable to find the above listed with the same method, which is:

rpm -q nameofpackage
locate nameofpackage*rpm

any thoughts?

nice questione... i'm also interested in removing PosgreSQL

just a question:
what have you done to get rid of ASP and Frontpage?

The easiest thing to do would be to look at the Plesk install docs. 7.5.3 Release notes It will tell you the names of most of the packages you are looking for.

How do you remove PosgreSQL server support?

I enable it via the CP updater and now the updater does not give me the option to remove it.
