Hi,

We have a Plesk 8.1 server on a Windows Server 2003 machine with SmarterMail 4.3.2760 installed.

We noticed a few days ago that Plesk was no longer talking with SmarterMail. In fact, whenever anyone would click Mail in Plesk, Plesk would freeze at "Please Wait... loading."

When we go to Server -> Plesk Components Management, the list looks like this:

Things we tried:
1) Restarting services.
2) Restarting the server.
3) Upgrading SmarterMail from 4.2x to 4.3.
4) Clicking refresh on the Components Management page.

Any ideas short of buying Plesk support?

I was considering upgrading Plesk from 8.1 to 8.2, but I want a ghost copy of the hard drive first and have not had a chance to do so yet being that this is a live server.

Any ideas or assistance would be appreciated.

I imaged our server and installed plesk_8.2.0_build070705.17.exe. The problem was solved by the installer.

However, I am not impressed that with our "Unlimited 1 yYear Email Support" I got NO reply from anyone to an URGENT request sent over a week ago.

NOT Impressed...
