  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi,

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. We just got a new install of PLESK and next to FrontPage and ASP it says install component. I'm a little confused as I couldn't find a custom button to install these components. Can anyone shed some light on how I can enable it. Oh I'm running on Demo at the moment and not the licenced version. Could that cause the problem?
Thanks

Adam

You need to make sure these are installed via IIS and Windows. Plesk doesn't install them. Check Add/Remove Programs. Usually you can add them live and reboot the machine and they will be available.
