Resolved .conf.bak Files in apache and nginx conf

moswak

Regular Pleskian
Hi,
why does plesk leave deleted-domain.TLD.conf.bak files in the directories

/etc/httpd/conf/plesk.conf.d/forwarding/
/etc/httpd/conf/plesk.conf.d/webmails/

/etc/nginx/plesk.conf.d/forwarding/
/etc/nginx/plesk.conf.d/webmails/

although the domain is already deleted ?
if a domain is deleted then these .bak files should also be removed ?

It is a good general practice to keep backup configuration files just in case. Many rpm or deb packages, when removed in the same way, keep backups of their configs, for example.
