  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Configure awstats for maillog

anthill

New Pleskian
Hi,

Im having issues configuring awstats to use the maillog as i'd also like mail statistics as well as web statistics. the web statistics are working fine.

I created a copy of an existing /opt/psa/etc/awstats/awstats.DOMAIN-http.conf and renamed to /opt/psa/etc/awstats/awstats.DOMAIN-mail.conf.

Following this guide i changed the settings within the new conf file. The only additions being:
LogFile="/usr/share/awstats/maillogconvert.pl standard < /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog |"
DirData="/var/www/vhosts/system/DOMAIN/statistics/mailstat"

I ran a combination of:
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics --calculate-all
./rebuild_awstats.sh
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics --generate-all-webstat

the mailstat directory did not get created. So i created it manually and ran the above again. The mailstat directory did not get populated. I'm not even convinced it's is reading my config file.

I have attached a copy of my config file replacing my domain with DOMAIN.

Anybody able to assist?

Thanks
