  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Connect to Azure MariaDB via SSL

PaulLeigh

New Pleskian
I'm new to Plesk but not web infrastructure.

I'm trying to setup Azure Database for MariaDB as the default Database in Plesk Obsidian for Linux. For what I hope are obvious reason, I want to enforce SSL connections to the MariaDB DaaS. However when trying to connect from Plesk, I'm rebutted with:

I've searched high and low for SSL options to connect the database but most results are about SSL for domains. Has anyone got any info on how this might be achieved?

FYI - If I turn off the SSL enforcement in the Azure MariaDB settings, it connects without issues.

Thanks, Paul
