• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

"Connection refused" when trying to access Plesk Control Panel

New Pleskian
 I've managed to lock myselt out of Plesk on our root server. There's been 2 things recently happened that might be relevant'

The certificate in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.pem expired today. My first attempt to replace the certificate resulted in Apache refusing to start. I've now managed to create a new certificate with exactly the same properties as the original but valid for another year and Apache is running OK for HTTP access on port 80. I can access webmail via HTTPS but connections for Plesk on port 8443 fail with "Connection refused"

The other recent event is that what we thought was an unused domain has just been deleted. The domain was called default-domain.co.uk, this came with the system and we never used it but I'm starting to wonder if it might have been relevant for Plesk, in which case how do I get myself out of this hole?
