  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Continuos update alert / update fails?

New Pleskian
Hello!

For several days now, I get all the nights the alert email that the panel has made a new update.

Since the last is the 11/05/30 Update # 12 [12-Aug-2013], I guess that something is not working properly, as if the update fails and it is repeated the next night.

I note that in addition to this problem I have found two others, after upgrading to version 11.5, and I am pointing you to posts in which I have described them, in case they might have a common cause and help to find a solution:

I too have noticed that each morning I receive a notice that the panel has been updated. Of course, it hadn't. At this point it's only a minor irritation as the panel is at the current, highest level of micro-update. But I wish that the notice would go away if there was no update made.

Hello everyone!

Another small detail: since I have this problem with updates, every morning I have to reset the Administrator's interface language to Italian (my language), because I always find it in English.

After that I set Italian, so it remains throughout the day, but the next morning... English again.

Not such a serious problem, but it is as a kind of confirmation that during the "attempt" to nightly update, something does not work and the panel seems to "reset".

Any idea?

Thank you!

Michele
