  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

We want to make backups for an specific databse (not the hole domain).
According to documentation, when you select a domain, then the option Services-Databases, you select the database, and it should appears a button "Copy now". That button is only visible when you have MySql database, but not MSSql database.
Any idea on how to make a database backup from Plesk Panel

We have Plesk 8.6.0.5_build20080722.15 os_Windows 2003/2008.
Thanks in advance !

I fixed the problem myself. I found that there was a missing configuration in Ms SQL Server:

Plesk control panel > Server > Database servers > Click on "Microsoft SQL Server" instance > Preferences > last section you shoud add a path to server hard disk for example E:\TempDBBck and set apposite permission to folder in order to allow Plesk and Ms SQL Server to access it.
