New Pleskian
Hi there,

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? My CPU loaded on 100% (Virtual server), I guess it's some kind of malicious software doing this badly things..
At a first glance I'm thinking to install some anti-virus software (for an instance Clam AV) and do a full check up of the hdd.
Please let me know if anybody have similar issue and maybe, know a better way than mine..

Thanks a lot in advance.

You might want to scan your filesystem for files named "host", to be sure there's only the one (something like find / -name host 2>&1 should do the trick)

Hello,

You will have to monitor your server process through ps aufx and top -d2c and can you please provide me following command out

Code:
lsof -p <PID>

Btw, I was surprised, beacause of the CPU's load was ~30-40 yesterday late evening.
I installed Clam Antivirus yesterday and run following command: clamscan --infected --remove --recursive /

Kind regards.

IgorG, спасибо за подсказоньку, глаз не обратил внимание на сие безобразие ;)

Hello,

First of all delete bruteforce.so file from your server. Also I will suggest you check your upload folders and scan it through maldect, May be there are any shell scripts are uploaded on your server.

Thanks a lot guys, the issue has gone. It was about a hacked site on my VPS, seems that it used some spam-bots which caused those problems with CPU.
