  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello all.

I am hosting a DNN site on PLESK, and I am selling DNN portals to my customers and the creating domain alaises for thier URL.

I have not created a domain or a client for these domain's

Now what I want to do is creat eMail accounts for my cusotmer's. How do I create an eMail account for a domain aliase.

Regards

Rhys

It is not possible to create own mail account for domain alias. But you can select the Mail check box for alias, if you want e-mail directed at the e-mail addresses under the domain alias to be redirected to the e-mail addresses under your original domain name.
Example: You have an e-mail address mail@yourdomain.com. You have set up an alias for your domain name, for example, alias.com. If you want to receive mail to your mailbox mail@yourdomain.com when it is sent to mail@alias.com, select the Mail check box in alias settings.

Thanx for that Igor, is there any way, be it be creating a client or domain for my cusotmers to get it to work the way I want it to?

THanx
