  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Creating templates for email hosting

Hi there,

I'm trying to set up templates to allow clients to add email hosting (not web hosting) through their WHMCS client area - I have managed to automate the process but i'm not sure i have set up the templates correctly... Each account should be able to add as many domains to the account in such a case that a client has more than one domain name.

I will have 4 plans, 10, 50, 100 or 150 mailboxes - Each account will gain 2Gb per mailbox, and the client should be able to distibute the mailbox limits as they wish. I have installed smartermail as my choice in software.

Also, i seem to be having problems when adding email accounts direct through smartermail, it doesnt update the mailbox list in Plesk... But obviously when i add them through plesk, they update smartermail fine...

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated...

Thanks in advance for your help

Regards

steve
