Creation of SPF record fails

Hi All,

To send mail to hotmail adresses e.g. a SPF record is needed.
I tried to create one and added a type "TXT" record to my domain with the plesk panel, and put v=spf1 a -all into it at the "ENTER TXT RECORD" box. In the "ENTER DOMAIN NAME" box I entered nothing, it gets then the domain only without any prefixes e.g. mydomain.com

The record looks like this:
Host record type value
mydomain.com TXT v=spf1 a -all

But, hotmail is still not recieved (other mail can be send, also from the phpmail function).
When I send a mail to auth-results@verifier.port25.com from my webmail in plesk (HORDE) then
I get a :

DNS record(s):
DNS record(s):
mydomain.com. TXT (no records)

So it seems to me the SPF record does not work.
Please help if you have any idea to get it working.

Hi All,

Probably I've solved the problem.
I'am using the domain name server of my domain registrar instead of my own one with Plesk 8.2.
I'll have to move the name server to the plesk server to get spf working.
Always keep this in m ind when using SPF.
