  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Custom Buttons

The custom button option is nice, but the way it adds the custom fields is so frustrating and greatly restricts what it can be used for. Why does it set what the URL parameter names will be? It should allow you to just create a URL string with these inserted as needed, so I could do something like:

http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?domain=<dom_name>

Being able to insert these variables as you wish into a URL would be FAR more useful than the current, very restrictive options that only work for sites you are programming yourself.

I don't want to have to create buttons for every single domain in the control panel, that's why! A custom button should allow me to create one as an administrator that will show up (and work properly) for each user.

create a button and place it on navigation pane, not at domain's page
and make it accessible for users
;)
every user can use it.

Did you even bother to read and *try* to understand my original message?? If I want to put a button on that will work for every user, but has a link that would use their *own* domain in it, there is no way current to do this, because of how the custom buttons work.
