Hi,
I use several domains and sub domains with Plesk.
I'm new to Plesk and I wonder how to get custom logs working the way I need.
For the moment, this is what I understand about logs with Apache&Plesk :
- I believe that Plesk doesn't offer to change the log name (from access_log) for a specific domain/sub-domain
- If I set Customlog directives in vhost.conf (for each sub-domain) it will just add to the ones Plesk puts in httpd.include not replace them (Apache behaviour I guess)
- If I set log rotation in Plesk it just takes cares of standard log files 'access_log, erro_log) and completely ignores the log files defined in vhost.conf
- I can't change the log format for access_log in vhost.conf, or if I do it just creates two lines in the log, one with plesklog format and one with my own format.
How can one override this :
- change plesk generated log file names for one(more) domain(s)
- have Log rotation take ALL logs into account
- Have custom log formating in acces_log file
Thank you for any help.
